Yes you have to be host but you can still get infections without host

so it would be kind of crazy?

if you not host then nothing its like normal but if you are host its just fun and so you cannont access any of the patches features unless you get infects before you enter a normal game

Ya i use elite mossy v7 stealth in public matches and it's the funnest thing ever. And yes you get the menu and everything that you would have in a priv match.
