To compress and decompress a PS3 a patch file you need to use offzip and packzip.

They are console applications (no GUI).

i get to like the 4th step and its already not working wtf.
i type in cd desktop/pack it says it cannot be done.

It does require basic computer knowledge.......You ahve to work out of the directory, just "cd" to it.
