So my question is: is camping something to be proud of or not? State your opinion.

There is all different kinds of camping. Staying in a certain section of the map and Dominating is the only kind of camping you could call "tactical".

People who stay at spawn, hide in pointless parts of the map and camp in buildings are just plain shit at the game no matter what! when you watch the killcam they usualy have a heartbeat sensor taped to there gun ...scavenger danger close? and commando.

People who want to camp should get the **** out of S& and go play all the Scrub modes like TDM and FFA !

how i deal with campers
If the camper gets killstreak rewards, i'll keep destroying them.
or i just rpg them or kill em using a riot shield with c4 or throwing knife.

can't stand the campers that hide in bushes or corners and pop out only if you run by. Those are the ones I really hate. Lately thats all there been on MW2 the last week or so. Campers with heartbeat sensors.

I agree campers are easy kills in game modes like domination tdm, ffa ect stun grenade then charge in... but when playing S& you don't get the option to go back & kill them until the next round, but by that point they have changed position to a less obvious place you just wouldn't expect like hiding inside the luggage in Terminal wtf? lol/facepalm

Camping takes no skill at all (snipers who actually snipe are excluded). Is it a tactic? Well, lets see why we just dont all camp and see where the game goes. Saying it is a legitmate tatic is ludicrous. But then one says in real life its a tactic. Well this is not real life its a game. Even in real life if both oppostion armies are not advancing one will charge the other sooner or later. Look at all the wars we had, WWI, trench warfare armies came out charging to thier death, mowed down by machine gun fire. Who cares about KD ratio, only a bragger would claim he has a high KD ratio and he camps. Sheezz if anyone who camps and cant get a high KD ratio you must really suck. I mainly run and gun, and I dont care about my KD ratio. I play for the fun of the game, and basicly camping is part of the game but is BORING!!! So to all the campers out there squat all you want in the bushes (dont forget your toilet paper), hide in areas only to move several feet. Seriously is it any fun just sitting there and waiting for someone to come by and shoot them, what kind of reward is that. I could never brag " damn I was playing MW2 last night and I camped out and got like 20 kills." If that excites you, you need to get laid or something cause your boring!!! lol..
