No, just plug your PS3 that is Jailbroken into your router, "the same router you have you PC plugged into". Then go to the FTP package that you put on that ps3, start FTP it will give you your IP address. Use that IP in Filezilla and follow that tut I gave you the link to in the other post for the rest. Should help. I followed it step by step and it worked for me, so if me of all people was able to get it to work, I'm sure anyone can...lol If you still need help, PM me, I'll walk you through it.

Nothing personal, really doesn't matter to me either way, do you live in a House or an apt? Either way somewhere you should have a cable coming in somewhere to a modem and if it is split off into several rooms and in order to split off in such a way a hub/port/router of some kind has to used. Now this would be different if you lived in a dorm on campus somewhere. If that's the case, I'm clueless. I know there is a way to somehow hook it to you PC, not sure exactly how.

Yeah u could plug the ethernet cable that comes out of ur wall into ur PC then u need another ethernet cable to connect ur PC to ur PS3, then u need to bridge connections in Network and Sharing Center.
