I am error
i want to transfer my mw2 modified patch from 3.41 to a 3.51 system. I know that the datas of my 3.51 system will be deleted, so i made a backup on an external hdd. But if i transfered the patch and want to restore the datas from my external hdd will the modified patch deletdd on the ps3 again?

Ohh okay, i just put it on external hdd, and put it on my pc rename it keep it there, then make another back up. Oohh okay, i want to know because im going to jb tomorrow with ti-84 do you want to help or do you know things about it?

sorry i use my iphone to jailbreak...never seen a t84 yet...im sure there are tutorial for it..youtube

Right, lets get this right 
1. You can backup you ps3 as many times as you want onto the same external HDD but it is highly reccomended to connect it to your pc and rename the backup to something suitable e.g "EliteMossy v7"
2. To make life much simpler, you should put everything you have on your online ps3 onto your jailbreak ps3 e.g your accounts, map packs etc.
3. If you transfer a patch from your jailbroken ps3 to your online ps3 and then do a restore from an external storage device, everything you done was pointless. e.g you put a custom mw2 patch on jailbroken ps3, data transfer and then restore. you done all that work for nothing!

Because the backups only work on the PS3 it was backed up on, otherwise it will not transfer to another PS3 because of copyrightten stuff or whatever
