Just wondering because I hear about long distance data transfers and from what I hear, they put patches on 3.50's? Can someone clarify this please...?

Long distance? No. Short distance = yes (region-wise)

So I can't get a patch on my ps3 from someone thats a few states away :|?

You can always send your 3,50 ps3 to someone with a 3.41 one and they can send over a patch to it and return ps3 to you.

But you shouldnt trust anyone
