Depends on what easy is. If you have a Playstation 3 with 3.41 firmware and a jailbreak chipset or dongle, jump right in to it.
All you need is to stop the default_mp.self from loading. If not I'm shure some people would be willing to help.

LOL if u stop it from loading the game will not run, the .self for ps3 is like the .exe in te pc,(and .xex in xbox)you just need to have a custom default_mp.self without security checks.check derektrotter´s tread to see how to do this, its easy.(if u want i have the already modded default_mp.self for blus30377)

you need a jailbroken 3.41 ps3 and a 3.50 ps3 (to bring it online)and a ps3 pkg and ps3 ftp server (search for on google)
I.on your 3.41 ps3
1.install the pkg then unplug you power cord
2.jailbreak your ps3
3.start you ftp server and go to your computer
4.connect to the server on filezilla the navgate to hdd>game>your region number>USDIR(or whatever its called)>then you will see the defult_self file
5.search on google"us/uk(or what your region is) mw2 ps3 11th defult_self file"
6.download it and drag and drop into filezilla
7.look up a tutriol on how to hdd transfer from 3.41 ps3 to 3.50
