The Ps3 resets? Turn it on without jailbreaking and transfer!

But then I cant open FTP It says an error occured during start operation

after you use ftp to transfer the patch to your jailbroken ps3, you can restart with no problem and do the data transfer utility

Some people should not even be attempting this stuff, seriously.

if u put the patch on just quit game or quit to XMB, then switch off unplug cable, then jailbreak device, test it on splitscreen, THEN DATA TRANSFER

Turn on your console in jailbreak mode start ftp server

on your pc open filezilla and connect to you ps3 hdd

once connected, transfer you modded patch to correct directory! once it has transfered go to your ps3 and click on "Stop ftp server"

close down filezilla (or whatever ftp program you use)

go back to your ps3 and click on exit to xmb

once at your main screen, hold down ps button and select turn off system.

once your system is off turn off switch at the back of your ps3 or unplug power cable, disconnect jailbreak device, turn on swith or connect cable at the back of your ps3 and turn on using the ps3 button! hope this helped =)
