You can always bypass 3.41 Firmware with DNS code.
The code is all over the internet.

be aware.. going online with 3.41 could get you banned, as Sony got more strict to jailbroken ps3's online Winky Winky

what about having the patch in the system and then updating via USB to 3.50 and then using the DNS trick will that work?

It should work, but make sure you test the patch before you update Winky Winky

I am playing online at 3.50 also..

ok thanks for the reply but 1 more question, will the DNS firmware bypass always work?

They have patched it before..
So they may patch it again,, but it's not patched yet Winky Winky

Easiest thing to do is update the console to 3.50 (not 3.55) theres a way to bypass so that you can play 3.50 online, then downgrade to 3.41 when you want to re-edit the patch.

if you upgrade to 3.50 the dns bypass will work untill they release a new firmware. which will be soon when they relise people are bypassing on 3.50..

downgrading is good but i still think people should have 2 ps3's

makes things so much easier..
