Nope, reformatting won't do.. It kinda sucks hosting cuz everyone just uses u to get everything and when they're satisfied they're gone.

Formatting won't lower the FW to 3.41.

If you have left your ps3 on FW 3.5, then you can buy a Jailbreak USB to downgrade the FW to 3.41, however I have been told this can brick your ps3.

Other than that at the moment I don't think there is any other way...

I guess maybe if one of your friends had a 3.41 ps3 they could data transfer a patch over to yours and then you could use it online
