Post: need some major help with a patch edit.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i need help editing mw2 for ps3 when i packzip my b4a0 file into patch_mp.ff it exceeds the offset 14f51 in patch_mp.ff so when i put in 14f51 it cuts off the b4a0 file how can i fix that.

Give me more info mate. Are you using AlabamaHits's tutorial to packzip or are you using pr0z's patch creator to zip it? If you are using pr0z's I suggest you follow AlabamaHit's TUT because I was never able to get a working patch with pr0z's program. Don't get me wrong, its a great program but I personally prefer AlabamaHits. Give me more specifics on your problem and I might be able to help you.

im using my own method kind of like alabama hits but more efficient and it always works but for this one patch. and if its a program would i be dealing with offsets?

and hunter, unkn0wn SOMEONE WITH knowledge on this please help me.(not saying you don't psy93)

Yes, if its pr0z's program you still have to fix offsets. I mean I would have to take a look at your method of zipping it back into patch_mp.ff otherwise your right, I can't really help you because I zip using Alabama's TUT so I wouldn't understand the error you're getting. Good luck to you man.
