well when i got ylod on my old ps3 i bought a new ps3 and it was on 3.11 or what ever it is the one below 3.41

its not very unlikely you will get one on 3.41 its not like gamestop and places take the ps3 out of the box and upgrade them just get one from the back of the shelf and if its not on the right fw just exchange it and try again. and if you need to downgrade you can downgrade from 3.41 to a super low fw and upgrade back to a non modded 3.41 fw and that will fix the blueray playback issue.
