(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know how to jailbreak, and downgrade, and host a challenge lobby, but I still have several burning questions. I searched for an hour on the forum and couldn't find the answers. I have one 3.41 jailbroken running mossy v8. I know what I'm doing.

1. I know it is possible to transfer from 3.41 to 3.55, but can a patch be transferred (via ethernet, not short distance) from one ps3 on 3.55 to another on 3.55?

2. (NOTE: I already know you can only restore an HD backup on the console it was made in) Can backups of the HD made on 3.41 be restored in 3.55? No, Im not looking for a new way to downgrade, I want to know if I make a backup for each patch I have on 3.41, could I upgrade to 3.55, and then restore the HD from the backups I made in 3.41? And in this way change patches on 3.55 via backups I made in 3.41.

3. I there an edited version of unk0wn's 2.8.5 patch without the red text, and with an aimbot that works? When I tried the aimbot, it was crap lag and only worked 1/2 of the time.

4. Is it possible to get zombies (quarantine v2, not Juggernaut) on the same patch as a challenge lobby, or would it take up too much space? I think for this to work the other game modes (gun game, chamber, etc) would have to be taken out.

5. If #2 is not possible, could I, in 3.41, upload several patches to different HHD's, (as in, not a backup, but swapping the HD out of the console) update to 3.55, and then swap the HDD's to change what patch I ran?

Look around for a different patch, an edit of unknown's, or just use regular. I think the red text boxes aren't really that big of a deal.

Yes there are quite a few patches that have this, i.e look at derektrotter's edit of elitemossy v7 or v8.

This won't work because the PS3 does not support hot swap of hard drives. So once you put in a new HDD, the PS3 will format it.

For some further information, just back up every patch that you like and then update. I'm in the same situation as you with 1 ps3. I'm currently waiting for the final release of derektrotter's elitemossy v8. Hope I helped.

on #4: derektrotter's edit of elitemossy v7 and v8 have a challenge lobby, and juggernaut zombies, not quarantine chaos. They both have the term zombies associated with them, but they are different game modes. Unless I am trippn' there is no quarantine on derektrotter's edits

Also, if you are in the same situation I'm in (one ps3 on 3.41 who wants to be able to use multiple patches on an updated 3.55), how do u know #1 and #2 will work if you havn't tried them yet?

OK well then you can always back up a patch of quarantine zombies. Data transferring should work for all firmwares (assuming you mean like hamachi.)

And I know backing the patches work, because I've done it on 3.50 (back when they had the DNS bypass) and I've switched patches on 3.41.

Were u able to switch patches while in 3.50 via backup utility without being in jailbreak mode?

Yes, you don't need to be in jailbreak mode. The backup utility is there for a reason.
