Post: Mw2 .bats to help recompress & decompress faster
12-21-2010, 05:12 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); These are some .bat files I just made to help re-compress & decompress the Mw2 patch. All you do is click it and it does it for you. lol..

Offzip1: You click it and it leaves you with the 2 files you need the 00014f51.dat and the 0000b4a0.dat

Offzip2: You click it and it will decompress
    offzip -a -z -15 _missions_comp.gsc ./ 0

Remember you have to be following a tut. on decompressing and decompressing the patch. It'll tell you when you need to re compress and decompress

Packzip1: Does this for you.
    packzip -o 0x00000002 -w -15 00000002.dat _missions_recomp.gsc

Packzip2: Re-compresses 00014f51.dat and the 0000b4a0.dat

Packzip3: To re-compress
    o 0x00000002.dat -w -15 00000002.dat _utility_recomp.gsc

Error… Cat invasion!
No help if you are editing a differant .gsc e.g, if i wanted to edit "_utility.gsc"

it would be packzip -o 0x00000002.dat -w -15 00000002.dat _utility_recomp.gsc

not _missions_recomp Smile, Just to let you all know lol
