go on your Playstation 3 and on the main menu go to Settings

then click system settings

then click sytem information

it should says firmware then a code like 3.41 or 3.55

tell me what the code says

In system information, if your firmware version is above 3.41 as it probably is, you won't be able to install 3.41

Im in Australia and my brother brought a brand spanker last week .... Had fw 3.50 on it :confused:/facepalm I heard/think you could jailbreak or downgrade it do some seaching here :bye:

You actually can downgrade a ps3 on 3.50 firmware with an infectus mod chip
