(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I was needing help for which GSC's we can rename so we have more space and thought to start a thread where everyone can post what GSC's they have renamed and if the game still worked normally.

RENAME ABLE :

airdrop.gsc
_perkfunctions.gsc
_ac130.gsc
_missions.gsc
_events.gsc


NOT RENAME ABLE :
_utility.gsc

PARTIALLY RENAME ABLE :
dd.gsc (Removes Demolition Gameplay)
koth.gsc (Removes Headquarters Gameplay)

ok wait what if you try to copy one of the gsc? because could you just rename it to whatever the **** you wanted to and repackage the patch because when the MW2 first came out, the patches before any dlc there would have been a dlc gsc and if there was they would of either already had the maps or had a way of authoring the new gsc so if you can do that then we would have unlimited space......if im all wrong then tell me off, im new at this and i wanna learn. If anyone has the decency to help me make my own patch i would greatly appreciate it

So your saying we can rename all of them and yet the game still works properly? (you can call in AC130's etc)

when you rename a gsc the game will not find that certain gsc and load it off the game

After you've renamed can you just delete all of the codes from it? :/

you can rename just about every GSC except utility

just check the lost superspace patch to get an idea

i get "script compile error, bad syntax" when trying to play any gamemode other than free for all and team death match, just to let you guys know, i've renamed some gsc's, but i've been having this problem way before i've renamed any gsc's, any help

Can you post link to it please? cuz i've never heard of that patch :p and would like to check it out
