Got the same problem here. I think its due to your NAT type or just a crappy connection.. Not sure though

Yeah its moderate too, and sometimes its strict. my connection is known to lag a bit sometimes and time out. I have tried almost everything to get my NAT type to open but it isn't really working out for me..

manster
League Champion
in admin/host menu
force host, ranked match -> leave lobby -> make party -> search for online games

if it doesnt work:
-make your nat-typ: OPEN
-your party is too small (try with 6 or 9 people)
-invite people to lobby
-try other patch(es) (Unkn0wns 2.8.5 , v7/v8 by derektrotter have a good force host Winky Winky)

Just put your PS3 IP in the DMZ, your nat should be open then. Thats what I did.

i used to have this problem but ive been hosting all the time since i started choosing either Free-For-All or Team Tactical. Those work best. Also, when the game is counting down in the pregame lobby when u finally manage to get some people in, put a "%" in your clan tag and if it changes to a "." then you are not the host. sometimes it changes hosts even when u ahve force host on. It just makes it so you dont join games that are already in session. Hope i helped some of you guys who were having problems.

It also helps if your ps3 on a Wired Connection through ethernet. thats how mine is and i didnt have to do any of the DMZ garbage.
