(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so i have 1 3.41 ps3 and i have loads of patches that i wanna use but i dont have a second ps3 so if i put the patch on then made a backup stored it on my ps3 put on a new patch etc etc then update am i able to load them?
i have seen juddylovespizza's tut but i was wondering would this work the ps3 i backup and load is the same its not like im sending it to someone to try load

No... I don't think it will let you back up from a lower firmware.

You're better off trying to find a second hand ps3 on fleabay and using that .

so even if i get a ps3 and transfer then it gets a fw update they wont work ever again?

I ve heard from 2 people now that when you upgrade from 3.41 to 3.55 the patch gets deleted..

what do you mean the patch? i saw something and the guy put a patch on then while jailbroke backed it uo and updated his ps3 and the patch was missing but he loaded the backup and it worked fine

Ok, the people I know just tried to load a mw2 modded patch on 3.41 and then upgrade and the patch got deleted.
If you can get it working, make a tut maybe..

I have one PS3. It WAS on 3.41 so I put all my patches on 1 by 1 and once the patch was on my PS3, I backed it up onto my external portable hard drive. I did this for each of the patches. Im now on 3.55 and whenever I want to switch my patch, all I do is restore it from my external hard drive Smile . (Make sure your storage device (hard drive) is FAT32 formatted)

how do i forat it or how do i check if its a fat3 and formatted?

Go into My Computer and right click on your Hard drive. Go to Properties. It will say File System: And it will say something like ( NTFS, FAT 32, (Other)) . If it says FAT32, your good to go. If not, then google a program that turns it into FAT32. Smile
