I think Ive seen one guy up here that had 355 and was using the james tree patches. I would be fine with that. Can someone plz let me know if theres anything I can do using my current setup and if someone could point me in the right direction of how to use the custom patches on my ps3 that would be awesome. Ive seen some tuts up here but they were for 3.41.

Unless you can get someone to do a Hamachi transfer no. If you or a friend have another PS3 that has the firmware 3.41 or lower, yes you could transfer data between PS3's but would need to jailbreak first. There is also a Custom Firm Ware out that will allow unsigned code I believe. There's some other tutorials about downgrading your firmware. I would suggest looking in the MW2 Hacks & Exploits section

Sorry bro there is no way for you to hack on 1 PS3 thats 3.55. You need a second ps3 thats 3.41 so you can jailbreak it and install modded patches.

You could do a himachi data transfer, there's tutorials on this site (use the search button). Also, remember to bridge your networks (except the router) before the transfer. they don't make that very clear.

Well, looks like I'm screwed guys. Nobody around here seems to have a jailbroken ps3 I can use or buy. Seems I'm the only person in NC who is interested in modding mw2. Its a shame, Ive done so much research, finally found and downloaded everything I need to do it....and I cant. Frustrating. All I can do is open up my patches in hxd, look at them, and dream lol :''(. NGU is an absolutely outstanding forum though, Ive learned so much up here.
