I use DEREKTROTTERS V8.17 online and the aimbot works just fine online, maybe your using the stealth aimbot and the player has to be visible? also the aimbot goes away after you die, so you have to re click it in the menu

cos i read somewhere u had to be host?

yes, I start MW2, goto private match, force host and end the game, than I invite who ever I want to than try to go online, seems to work most of the time, most of the time it takes a few minutes to find a game, if I get host I know right away, if not I/we back out and try again. I think I read somewhere that when you force host you have to be the only one in the lobby, so that's what I do. and yes you do have to be host to access the menu in order to get the aimbot
