the patch is the wrong region just get a different patch and try again

if you've updated your ps3 recently and now have v3.55 just go to nextgenupdate and search geohot 3.55cfw and go to the tut, this will show you how to jailbreak your ps3 and allow you to put modded patches on ps3 (i have several).

now that you've jailbroken it just go into your game data for you game (i've only done mw2) and find your most recent or desired patch.... now delete it! then download the modded version of your patch to the ps3 using comgenies file share... you know what i'll just post link........

watch this it might help although the first parts wont matter cos you are on geohots cfw 3.55.

I have the same problem. The only fix is either to use a backup or delete the entire folder to restore multi player functionality.

Try a different patch and that may help. I was going to try Havoc Undead patch instead. I'll tell you how it works later.
