Sony has recently acknowledged a breach in security on the PS3 which resulted in games to become exposed to exploits and hacks. Modern Warfare 2 is no exception to this security exploit and we understand that some of you have experienced problems with stats and other issues associated with this.

In the future we plan to adjust our approach to not rely solely on platform security and reduce the ability for this to happen in our games, as has already been displayed by the work Treyarch has done on Call of Duty: Black Ops to prevent similar measures.

Summarization = We won't do shit about the hacks cause we already have your money, so just **** off and stop bothering us.
Honestly, prestige modding doesn't bother me, but stuff like aimbot is just annoying. What's the point of playing if you use that? It's not a MMORPG where it's not fun unless you get to a high level, and if you don't want to waste your life, you just hack. MW2 has a straight up option to just enter a challenge lobby, unlock everything, and you're good. I get like modded game types and stuff, that's fun. But actual hacks in pubs is just stupid.

That guy must have an extreme amount of patients with all the flamming going around about him on the internet. Is everything his fault? Probably not.
But the fact that he said he was pushing for updates and never got them done let a lot of people down.
IW or Activisions fault, it doesn't matter. The game could have been the best Call of Duty game ever if it lived up to Call of Duty 4.
Personally, I think they added too much to the game. Simplicity in Call of Duty games is what makes them that much more competetive.
