I agree with derek. Your not "amazing." You just got lucky and had a patch just when everyone needed one. There are maybe 50+ people on 7s that can do everything you do, but better. There's nothing special about your patches. They have the same stuff everytime.

I just read/scanned these forums for some time before I made this account and started posting etc. From what I've read he does seemed to have gotten angry at everyone (I would assume it is the popularity of your edit, but your edit wouldn't be possible without his patch, so he shouldn't be mad about it!) Although he probably deserves it I think you should leave his name in. But thats just me, you'll do what you wana do.

You know what pissed me off? The fact that everyone kisses everyones ass for releasing stuff. I made the majority of the patches on this site, i compiled them for everyone to enjoy. People just seem to rip the code, shove there name in, remove mine, and say they made the patch.

Now i respect you for not removing my name, i also respect that you do not make out it was your patch. I spent alot of time making these patches, trying new stuff, making fixes, so people can enjoy the game.

I just get a bit pissed off when people are saying "DEREKTROTTER" is the best, he makes the best patches, but what half of these people don't realise what my Private Patch is like, and how advanced it is.

Just because i am not releasing everything i made, people are slagging me off.

They like his edit, Its basicly the best patch out there right now. Noone realises what your Private Patch is like because NOONE HAS IT. I'm not telling nor asking you to release it btw, but of course noone knows what its like... anyways ill stfu now and just read

But theres no need to take it out on me because people like the patch better. I spent a lot of time on that patch + i know you took some coding from it cos i've seen it in your private.

If you released the patch you previewed, no one would bother with me.

But can you understand why i am pissed off and wont release my private patch. People dont give two shits about who made the patch as long as it only says there name.
