But how to do 11th prestige on Geohotz custom firmware 3.55 with Comgenie’s Awesome File Manager.

Stuff whats needed;
1 PS3 on 3.55 running custom firmware
2 Comgenie’s Awesome File Manager
3 USB storage

First of all make sure you got a clean ModernWarfare2 patch.
If you are not sure, Delete the MW2 patch in the; Gamedata utility folder, and redownload the patch by starting the game from disc.

Put all the files what you have downloaded with the maps complete onto youre usb storage.
Make sure youre usb is formatted to FAT32 or youre PS3 won’t recognize.

What you need to do now. Is open up Comgenie’s Awesome File Manager,
Go on the left side of the screen to /dev_usb000/FilesFor11th/Bushigan'sDevilTreePatchV3/patch_mp.ff

And on the right screen go to /dev_hdd0/game/BLES00683/USRDIR/patch_mp.ff
WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BOTH FILES MARKERED (patch_mp.ff on the left side and patch_mp.ff on the right side)
Now marker the left one and press CIRCLE on youre PS3 controller. It asks you if you want to copy and paste this file. Watch good if you selected both directory’s good.
If its good hit the START button.

If done right it should overwrite the right file.
We are not done yet, to make the 11th prestige working. You got to delete one file.
If correct its also in my downloads. And on youre usb storage now.

On the right side, you see a file called; default_mp.self Marker that file on the right side. And hit SQUARE to delete, if its correct it will ask you, are you sure you want to delete this file?
Then press start again. (it should be gone)

Now we have removed this file. We can go on Modern Warfare 2 and go to youre private match.
Now select the 11th prestige in the menu.
(READ; because you have deleted the default_mp.self means nobody can join youre match and you cant join anyone)
To go back online close the game. Go back to Comgenie’s Awesome File Manager and go to the left side dev_usb000 go to files2fix then marker the default_mp.self and go to the right side /dev_hdd0/game/BLES00683/USRDIR/ go back to left marker default_mp.self and hit CIRCLE afther you are sure you selected the good file. Hit START button to paste.
If correctly, on the right side the default_mp.self is back now you can play online on mw2!.

Youre 11th is sticked !

Open up the mod menu by pressing down on d-pad
Then scroll to the stat editor scroll down again to prestige. Scroll again down for 11th.

Hey man, umm...well...I downloaded the stuff, deleted the file, made it to 11 prestige and all that, but when I go back to copy the default_mp.self to the right side, it copies, and I can see it on the right side, but when I go to play on line it says 'no games found' and it is as if the default_mp.self file never actually redownloaded. Is it gone for ever?? PLEASE tell me how I can play public matches again BTW, your tut was actually REALLY great, but PLEASE Im really worried I will never be able to play mw2 again...PLEASE HELP!!

Hey man...ummm...well...so i downloaded all the stuff ya know, went to the mods menu, clicked 11 prestige, it worked, left lobby, i am still and 11 prestige, so thanks for that However, when I went back to Comgenie's awesome file manager to re-copy the default_mp.ff patch, it showed up as if it did copy, but when I go into a public match its says no matches found' and I cant join a public match whatsoever. PLEASE help me Im REALLY worrie I will never be able to play mw2 online again...PLEASE help me bro
