[SIMPLE TUT's] HOW TO TRANSFER MW2 PATCH TO PS3 USING COMGENIE'S FILE MANAGER

Make sure the patch you are going to put in your PS3 is named, patch_mp.ff

Launch Comgenie's File Manager
You must login or register to view this content.

Now this is how your screen should look like when you launch it.You must login or register to view this content.

Scroll down to 'dev_usb000'
You must login or register to view this content.

Now hover next to your patch in your USB flash drive
Do not press anything once your next to it
You must login or register to view this content.

Press the Right button on the D-Pad and now you should be on your PS3's Folders
You must login or register to view this content.

Scroll down to 'dev_hdd0' and press 'X'
You must login or register to view this content.

Once in 'dev_hdd0' folder scroll down to 'game' folder and hit 'X'
You must login or register to view this content.

Now find your region of MW2 (if in the US its most likely 'BLUS30377' Winky Winky

and press 'X'
You must login or register to view this content.

You are in the MW2 folder now, press 'X' on the 'USRDIR' folder
You must login or register to view this content.

Scroll down to the MW2 Patch that is currently in your PS3, JUST SCROLL NEXT TO IT DON'T PRESS ANYTHING OR MOVE
You must login or register to view this content.

Now press Left on the D-Pad to go back to your patch in your USB and stay on that side
You must login or register to view this content.

Lastly, making sure you are still next to your patch on the USB, press 'R2'
You must login or register to view this content.

YOUR DONE!, now just launch your MW2 disc and you should have your patch up and running!!!

True, but its already been done

i just did a bit contribution. lol. Unless someone puts CLs and does ForceHost, and plays it as a regular lobby. Theres no hope

if you don't rename it, it wont overwrite the patch
