I play normal games all the time, using force host because it's no longer possible to join normal games. I don't think the game is shittier now because now I can choose to play normal games while before I had to be lucky not to join a challenge lobby.

Go to Portforward.com they have tutorials for every router and every game. Easy to follow with pictures etc. If that still doesn't work you could try buying a new router.

yea i went to that site a couple of days ago and every time i wanted to save my settings on my router and wouldnt save em!!??!? i have a linksys routeer

Listen I have a netopia 3347-02-1022 att dsl modem and I cant use any force host but that is because the main problem is my type 3 nat. I use to be able to play bf 1943 but now cant find any games either. I called sony and got the exact ports to play Mw2 on my ps3, i then took those ports and called att, the only thing they showed me was where to enter pinholes. I did that,still nothing. So i eventually found a way to put my ps3 in dmz(ip passthrough) for its ip address, nothing. Then the mac address,nothing. Only thing i havent tried is wired connect but thats because i dont have a long enough ethernet cable. So is there a way with me having this type 3 nat that i can somehow use forcehost and pick up some games. I can play just fine when its off i find games everywhere but once i turn it on its the problem. So how do i fix this ? Ive seen every tut on the internet trust me on this one, so i know you smart young sir's should be able to give me a decent solution.
Btw: Is there a possible way to do a wireless pppoe that will maybe give me what I need?
