it does not say cod or call of duty because it is a part 2 of call of duty 4 modern warfare so there was no need to put call of duty in front of it but we all know that it is call of duty we know the truth lol

BUMP for JUSTICE. In response to Carling's post in that other thread. Nobody is going around calling it CoD6. Nobody. Google Call of Duty 6 and see what you get. It is MW2, and the forum should be named accordingly. This is Infinity Wards new IP, not a Call of Duty, even if it is a direct sequel to MW1

Totally agree with you because the first MW WAS named a Call of Duty game and MW2 is a sequel to that, so technically should still be a COD game even though it's title is just MW (may be done to keep it short and sweet)
I too disapprove of IW branching away from COD then the series will start to become less significant in the success of MW2 because i think that COD4 is going to help make MW2 so great....

i will always call it cod6 because cod4 or modern warfare 1 was a call of duty game so this should be 1 two

I will probably still call it as "CoD" but this is pretty weird.
