I'm guitartattooman. Me, my best friend, and a lot of other friends, play MW2 all the time. We are not able to play in public matches. The status says looking at only 100 mps ping games and none found. We all live in central Virginia area. I've confirmed with over a dozen friends which include hacked AND unhacked ps3's. We have tried playing online str8 up and with force host 1 and 2. No dice! We can only play in private matches. Everyone has given up trying.

I don't know what's happening with you, but I am on mw2 right now and everything is fine. Try restarting your ps3 or deleting and re installing the mw2 patch.

Only weird thing on mw2 for me right now is i can't connect to anyones lobby, and they can't connect to mine.

I can get into lobbys (hacked of course) but haven't been able to play an actual game (modded or not) in about 2 days.

I logged on MW2 just now and it's fine. So im not sure.

What happens when you get suspended or banned? I've tried just about everything.

Maybe they are shutting the servers down to do a quick hotfix to clean the leaderboards =D

i had the same problem and i kept seaching for 100 ping but i deleted my defaultself_mp file and relpaced with one i downloaded to make me 11th. i had the delete mw2 off my ps3 and reinstall.

i havent had any problems ive been doin gun game in free for all's online with no problems all day
