You got the wrong region if you load up mw2 it will leave you with a Black Screen try to stay with patches in your regions here are some exp.

if you can't connect you put a bad patch on or the wrong version for your game disk.
delete C0D of your ps3 and reinstall.

I couldnt connect either on my main acc. had something to do with LeaderBoards. But now Mw2 is working again.
