But after that when i search for a public match, it takes forever to find a match and it never actually finds one. Please teach me how to do this. I know im a noob.

Try buying a better router or if your running wireless then try running directly to the ps3. It might have something to do with your connection. If you have dial up then that's why it won't let you find a lobby.

You can actually even connect to mw2 online with dial-up!? :wtf:

I will try this tomorrow but i agree with the other guy that its probably cuz my internet sucks. Its pretty slow and i connect with my ps3 using wifi so that makes it worse.

my internet sucks but i always get matches doing this: force host, ranked match, end game, back out and join any game type (preferably FFA, SND, TDM or domination), and when people start joining you press vote to skip. if you cant vote again until the match starts you are the host, but if you are able to vote again then back out and join again. oh and my nat type is moderate and not open. hope i helped
