After i get the infections from a CL how do i make them stick in ranked games ? do i need to get host? is there any infections that stick without getting host? thanks .

INFECTIONS THAT STICK:
-Laser
-No Reload
-Cartoon Mode Etc (Visions)
-Shows ONE Persons Name In The Map, Name Changes

INFECTIONS THAT NEED TO BE HOST:
-Speed Hack
-And Pretty Much Everything Else

They stay until you turn off your PS3 or quit the game. If they don't, you're not infected. Simple.
The client-sided infections I know are:

• Bigger UAV
  
• Laser sight
  
• Steady Aim (Crosshair is a +)
  
• Sleight of Hand (Instant ADS and reload)
  

Only ihatecompvir has made infections work without host, any other time you need to be host.
