No this is for 1.11, ATM 1.12 does NOT allow for .gsc modding.
Yes people transfer patches, if you use CFW you transfer from a usb, if you use two PS3, you do a FTP transfer than you do a data transfer. Hope that answers your queston.

Hell, who knows, I just read his post again and maybe he was asking if it could be made into a 1.12 patch. It sure seems like a majority of the kids don't want to any research into the patches, just download and go
