That will surely work since the patch blockers all block the update server. The only way to fix would be to change the update server 4 playstation itself.

Idn ill wait till it comes out and test this or wait until someone figures out how to bypass it.

It has 2 and theres always the rfom bypass otherwise it cannot be patched (I think)

Even if you do bypass, with RFOM you can only play with other bypassers.
