Ever wanted to have mutiple patches on you hdd and wanted to switch inbetween them without having to spend 5 minutes to do it?
well, no you can with patch installer! (not offical name yet)
all you do is start it, click a patch, and exit. you can do it in 30 seconds tops.
Patch install is a homebrew app for 3.55 that will let you switch which cod patch you are currently using. it will have a directory where all the patches are store, and it will quickly copy whatever patch you select to your game>regionID>usrdir
There will be patches preinstalled with it,
and this is where i need you guys, if you want your patch preinstalled on the app, post it on this thread or pm it to me.
Later versions of this app will cover COD 4 and 5, and black ops eboots

Sounds good if it works!
You say patches will be preinstalled, yo should make it so you can put your own ones in by putting in, for example:
/hhd_dev0/game/patch installer/patches/mossyprivate/mp_patch.ff
That's exactly what I mean

I didn't know how to explain it.

Not Available at this time
willl be availble to most regions.
UPDATE -
Today i did some coding and am almost ready for beta release. im thinking this weekend?
but i still need people to send in your patches if you want yours to be default in there.
right now i have no GUI some there is no point in a screen shot as of now.
also, which way do you want it to be set up?
choice 1 - use the name of the patch as the folder it is in (game>PatchInstaller>mypatch>patch_mp.ff)
choice 2 - use the name of the patch in the filename (game>PatchInstaller>mypatch.ff)
choice 3 - i dont care
Have a great day.
