Also, I can't get the patch files on my new HD/OS to open using ffviewer, can anyone help me with that as well? I have windows 7 and whenever i try to click the ffviewer.exe to open with it refuses to select it...

He used the _carepackage.gsc, so carepackages are disabled

Ye he used the cp gsc which unables it and the reason you cannot open the patch is because its a ps3 patch
