I copied MW2 to my HDD and used Comgenie's file manager to copy the imagefile3.pak to my USB to my PC. I've tried many programs for unpacking the files but they all say the file is unrecognized, and most of the programs were written for Quake.

If you can help me I will +REP you as this has been bugging me for quite some time. Thanks.

Dude I just used 7-zip to unpack 2 .pak files from Crysis 2. I am using Windows 7 and they unpacked just fine.

This is the MW2 section...different kind of .pak files.

Ahh ok. I did not know this. Have you guys figured out how to unpack them? Would you like me to find a solution? I would need a file as I do not have MW2 and do not want to download the whole game.

Would've gave you one but I just updated to 3.60 today. You need a PS3 .pak file from MW2.
