(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I just edited my CFG patch a little and put it on my ps3. The screen occasionally goes black for 5 seconds then says "Out of Memory." Any idea why?

I always get that i get this about once a week and it will say it and then i just click to go back online and it worked i dont understand what it is this happened on the 1.11 patch and the 1.12 patch and there not modded patches there just the infinity ward patches.

Out of memory is basically what it says. You have too many things going on. Might be a command or DVAR. i have noticed you also blackscreen if you make the FF too big.

Try removing stuff. PS3 has crap ram, unlike xbox.


Would splitting my dvars into two CFGs, relieve the RAM Memory at all.

If you quit game or leave lobbies too much, like as if you are trying to get host, it will give you that error. I dont know why it would give you that error consistantly though

It used to happen if you didn't use self endon("disconnect"); with gsc mods so stuff was still running when you ended the game..
Like someone said, the PS3 is a bit under powered..

Don't know about cfg's.. they are too boring for me :(

I figured it out, it was one of the DVARs that was being executed automatically. Some DVARs, like you said, are constantly being run and take up a large sum of RAM usage causing the Memory to overload.
