It doesn't freeze my PC the software just freezes. My next question is that I'm using the Patch Creator and when I get the missions section the file is named 00000c1a.dat instead of 00000003.dat. Will that effect anything when I put in that file?

yeah i know how to do that but im not sure how to create my own patch that way and another question wat does the patch creator actually do for you? Does it create a patch_mp.ff that you can mod with a missions.gsc you created?

Umm there is no good patch creater... You have to make your own codes and attach them in the patch and draw you menu with it... Sorry this isn't some shit for 12 year olds.

Dude you don't need a decompressor, just get an xbox version of the patch then open in .FF viewer. Then convert back to PS3 if you need to. :n00b:

Decompressing only works with PS3 Patches. Decompressing lets you open them in a notepad or something. Decompressing, to my belief, does not open a PS3 Patch in .FF viewer. .FF viewer only works with xBox. I hope I helped and answered your question. :p
