Whats up guys. Well I have been messing with my menu system. I was trying to put together a very good CFG menu, but I kept getting memory errors. I kept removing menus and items, until it got retarded.



So I set out and decided to improve the design of my menu system. For staters, I have removed the requirement for XML id tags. You can put them, but they won’t be used The generator will take care of that. Secondly, the code is more compact and a bit smaller. I removed un-needed things and all sound effects. The variable string names, are all lowercase, no underscores, and are a maximum of 6 characters.

I have tested my beta menu that has 9 menus total (including sub-menus). It works very well.

I will be posting a tutorial om NGU shortly to try and show newbs how to create menus with this.
