I was wondering if i can convert that patch to ps3 and use that on my 3.55 to infect my 3.60 thru system link(just like how xbox's are infected).

And will the infections stick online on my 3.60?

It is different now in PS3 CFG patch can't infect anyone just the host + also u can transfer the 1.12 patch to ur 3.60 ps3

I know what you mean but what i want to do is Use the 1.11 patch on my 3.55 and 1.12 on 3.60.

and infect through system link.

no im not going online with the 1.11, im just going to use LAN between both ps3's then infect my 3.60 ps3 then go online with the 3.60 which is on 1.12. have you seen the XBOX infection patch? pretty cool.

yea i seen it i was in one but you can't infect it sorry the only way is bypassing it.

In the xbox they still can mod the .GSC file but in PS3 now it is different and u can't join ur self if one on 1.11 and the other on 1.12 they must be in the same update the onlyway for now u must use 1.12patch on ur 3.60

Ya even lan match just try to create a match on update 1.11 and with the other ps3 with 1.12 patch u won't see any match to join

Yes, it WILL work. Just don't exit to the main menu, that will remove your infections.
