Infinity Ward will be releasing two map packs as timed exclusives for the Xbox 360, the company revealed at today's Microsoft press conference. After showing off the recent trailer and some snowbound gameplay, Microsoft pointed out that their aim is to make Modern Warfare 2 a de facto Xbox 360 title when it comes to playing online. No details on timing or price for the map packs was discussed, but providing them first for the Microsoft system is sure to influence which system some buyers decide to throw their support behind.

Activsion would only do it at a week maxiumum due to loss in fans etc. If they did it, more than a week, sony would threaten not to sell the map pack, and make activision make a decision, give it at the same time, or lose sales.
they wouldnt care about loss of fans xbox gets a lot of things like months earlier and it never makes the games lose fans

Do they not? So your telling me if a game doesn't sell something on one console at the same time as the other people wont get pissed of and not buy it?
