Ok first this is only for PC sorry ps3 and xbox users .

Ok so extract that to your desktop or any point .

1.) Ok so first open up 7zip or Winrar or any programs like that and go to your MW2 directory then go into Main then iw_03.iwd then images and look for menu_mp_image.iwi .

2.) Now drag that file into the OLD directory in the folder I've provided.

3.) Now open the folder Converters and keep the other folder open so you have Old and Converters open then drag the file from Old ontop of IWI_X_DDS if done correctly in the old folder you will have the new .DDS file.

4.) Go ahead and open it up in photoshop you will need the .DDS plugin installed on photoshop already if you don't have it installed download it here You must login or register to view this content.

5.) Edit the BG as much as you like I will be adding just xMerkii to it

6.) Now click save and a box like this You must login or register to view this content. will popup just click Save then a box saying Alpha will be lost just go ahead and click Ok

7.) Now open up dds2iwi_mw2.exe

8.) In the first box click Browse and locate dds2iwi-cod4.exe and click it once and then ok in the first box it should be around C:/Whereveryouchose/Converters.dds2iwi-cod4.exe ok.

For the second box locate your .dds file you just saved in photoshop Click it and then press OK then click convert

9.) Wait about 5 seconds or so and if no error popups you should see the new IWI file in the same folder as the old .dds

10. Open up 7zip and go to MW2/MAIN/IW__O3.iwd/Images and drag the new .iwi in

11.) Start MW2 and look at your new BG

Drag the DDS onto the converter tool dont open it up and select a path
