360/PS3 graphics are basically the same on the call of duty series.

And if you didn't know, when cod4 was shown off at e3 it was shown on a 360 and it released on ps3 as well.

That's because xbox is owned by Microsoft who are filthy rich and their reputation is much higher than Sony's. Using this they are able to bribe, not just IW but other developers (including GTA 4's) to use their gaming consoles at conferences and make deals of exclusive content, so that they are able to persuade people to buy xbox rather than any other gaming console to increase their sales greatly.....competition is fierce between Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo...

Because the console is what call of duty is developed on.

Considering the previous call of duty beta's have all been on the xbox 360 it's easy to assume MW2 may as well follow suit but since IW hasn't officially gone into beta discussion everything is just speculation, I personally think if there is a beta it will be 360 exclusive. The PS3 thus far has only had betas of game's that were exclusive to the system itself from what I can remember where 360 has had beta's from both exclusive titles and cross platform titles.

I remember awhile ago where the PSN wasn't able to host beta programs which a few developers noted as a disappointment which is probably why most go to the 360 even though now the PSN is capable of beta programs.

The reason we got the CoD 4 and WaW Beta is because Microsoft paied for them to be 360 and PC eclusive. Thats were our £40 a year goes!
