Do a barrel roll!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So ive been looking for a way to avoid playing players who have the mw2 radar hack in online tournies. My question is that in order to use a radar hack in a private match you have to be on custom firmware right? So to detect you could have someone take a video of their firmware before the match to prove they didnt have the hack? If anyone has any other ideas i would love to hear them.

No, you cannot be online with a custom firmware ps3. Those people that use radar hack (me :p), transfer their patch from one ps3, to another. The only way to tell if someone is using it, is to see if they stop moving for a few seconds at the beginning of the round, and then go again. Radar hack needs to be reset quite often. The best way to tell if someone if using any sort of mods, is to ask them to host a private match. Their mods will usually be on automatically, so they will work for everyone in the lobby.
