Hey guys...
I came across a dilemma when I was trying to install COD patches for my online ps3...
My hacked ps3 [Rebug 3.55.1] would not update my COD games, GAME DATA.
Why... I do not know... This was the way I always installed my patches.
Soooo... this is what I did.
THIS IS NOT NOOB FRIENDLY
WHAT U NEED.
Online ps3 on 3.65
Hacked ps3 spoofed to 3.65
External Harddrive FAT32 FORMAT
Some previous COD patches exp is helpful
1/ Delete COD Game Data from GAME/GAME DATA UTILITY on
ONLINE PS3
2/ Insert and Update COD Games that u want to install patches 2 on
ONLINE PS3
3/ Goto SETTINGS/SYSTEM SETTINGS/DATA TRANSFER UTILITY on
ONLINE PS3 and follow prompts to transfer data to
HACKED PS3. *The less memory used on ps3 the better..
The rebug update package 0.1 did not work for my rebug so I reinstalled Kmeaw 3.55 CFW and used the 3.65 spoofer which worked with no probs..
Download from here
You must login or register to view this content.
4/ After data has been transfered to
HACKED PS3 insert External DRIVE and goto SETTINGS/SYSTEM SETTINGS/BACKUP UTILITY and BACK UP.
Backup is saved to external as a numbered file, RECORD this file number, last 3 digits needed only...
This is your clean UPDATED COD GAME DATA.
When u want to install new patches u can goto SETTINGS/SYSTEM SETTINGS/BACKUP UTILITY and RESTORE using the recorded file number for your clean COD GAME DATA.
5/ Install patches as per usual FTP and Filezilla
6/ Goto SETTINGS/SYSTEM SETTINGS/DATA TRANSFER UTILITY and follow prompts to transfer data back to
ONLINE PS3.
7/ After transfer is complete.. On
ONLINE PS3 insert external harddrive and goto SETTINGS/SYSTEM SETTINGS/BACKUP UTILITY and BACKUP data. Record Numbered File.
All patches should be saved this way.. makes it alot easier to switch between patches by using the BACKUP UTILTY and RESTORE.
DONE..
Install and Save all patches..
Hope this Helped Someone Out there
