1. if your on 3.66 then you need another ps3 to put the hack onto fisrt to transfer it to your ps3
2.the ps3 needs to be on 3.41 jailbreak or 3.55 custom firmware to be able to transfer a patch
3. if you want a 1.11 patch then get the 1.11 pkg file and extract then copy everything except the eboot file to you patch folder then download what 1.11 patch you want and tranfer it (this is important that you keep the eboot from 1.12 patch at all times cus then it wont ask you to update)
4.if you dont have another ps3 then ask any off your m8s that live near you to do a data transfer to your ps3 (if they have the patch)

challenge lobbies? probably not possible with 1.12. but 1.11 bypassed, yes.
and you stick a patch into a JB ps3, then DT to your desired ps3, 3.66.
