Well it has recently come to my attention that not everyone can preform an accurate long range no scope shot like myself =D
So never fear Hungrys here to give out some techniques that he used (and still uses) to preform the awesome trick shots.

Now please note, I dont know the names to these, if you do know the correct name let me know and Ill add it

Technique 1 -
This is my favorite and most used shot. To do the shot, Tap L1 like you are about to scope in. Your scope will move in then out. As soon as your scope gets back to its original spot, fire. I have preformed many long range no-scopes like this, and it is the only technique i use for my 360's

Technique 2 -
This is one of my lesser used shots, but I do know some people who have deadly accuracy with it. To preform the shot, take one step left, and two steps right. As soon as you stop and your crosshairs go back to normal, fire away. This trick will take some practicing to get used to.

Technique 3 -
Another shot I commonly use. To preform the trick, Press triangle twice and fire. This will move your sniper rifle abit, but should not bring out your secondary. Once your sniper rifle is back to normal fire. I find this shot can be more accurate if you tap the triangle button a few extra times I.E. 4 - 8 times. This is one of the easiest shots to do and takes hardly any practice what so ever.

Technique 4 (Crouch Shot?) - No my favorite shot, not my least favorite. Basically all you need to do is crouch, stand back up and fire. Pretty easy to use, but not the most accurate shot on the list. This can also be done with prone, it takes a little longer before you can shoot but is a tad more accurate. User Dark shadow taught me another method of this shot. To do the alternate method, Crouch and as soon as you crouch take the shot. Suppose to be a semi accurate shot.

Technique 5 (Jump Shot?) - Probably one of the most fun shots to use. This shot can be done two ways, first is the way I use the trick. Jump into the air, and at the peak of your jump fire. This is my choice shot for an enemy at range who doesnt see me yet, because it is very accurate if you can master it. The second way it the most common with 360's. To do the alternate method, Jump and the moment you hit the ground, fire. These shots are some of the most accurate trick I know, and can be comboed with the first technique for deadly accuracy.

Technique 6 - This shot is nearly the same as technique 2. To preform this shot, first take a step forward and two backwards, then once your crosshairs return to normal fire. I never use this shot to be honest, because it takes alot of practice to get moderatly accurate with this.

Technique 7 - This shot is one of the least used among all no-scopers that i know of. I wont go too indepth on this trick, but basically, you walk left or right, and when you stop left your crosshairs return to normal then shoot. In my opinion this is an aweful technique, but if any of you want to give it ago.

Technique 8 - Thansk to pottys for this technique
"This is quite accurate,
get the enemy in the centre of your crosshair,
Knife,
as soon as the crosshairs close, Shoot."

Now guys, I know there are a few more tricks out there, I dont know or use them all but if you wanna inform me on a trick I would be glad to add it[/FONT]

Pertaining to Technique No. 4, I bolded the sentence I am confused about. How can you prove that this is more accurate? How can you prove that technique works at all? What makes you think any of these methods work?

I'm not trying to flame, but you make it sound like all of these have been proven to work. It's like if you had a guy standing 20 feet away, with his opponent using a sniper rifle. Say his partner is a robot who does the shot exactly the same every single time. Will he hit 100% of his shots? If the answer is no, you should probably include in your thread that it is POSSIBLE that these techniques can work, but haven't been backed up by proven facts.

No these shots are not 100%proven to work. Referring to the technique you pointed out. The sentence at the end says it is a semi accurate shot. What I mean by this, is in my personal experience, this shot had about a 6:10 hit to miss ratio. And your correct none of these are proven to work, but many players use these techniques because we notice a change in the accuracy of our rifle when we do.

In my eyes, noscoping is just luck, no matter what technique you use. But very nice thread, I'll give some of these a go and hopefully impress my buddies when I land an across-the-map noscope
