I've been looking on the forums for some questions I have and only a few have been answered. I went to a forum and they said that you need two PS3's, one on 3.55 and the other on 3.66. I have two PS3's that are both on 3.66, one of them has a dead blue laser, will it still work if I somehow downgrade this PS3? And why do you need two PS3's? Also, I went to another forum for a tutorial on XML, that looks like fun! Yes, if you haven't guessed yet I'm totally noob on this stuff. I catch on fast though This is what I think about the whole patching your PS3, tell me if I'm right or wrong. (most likely wrong) You downgrade your PS3 to 3.55 or lower, then you put the patch on your PS3 and just play MW2? That's enough for now, I have like 25 more questions but I'll just wait for someone to fill me in if you can. Thanks. :whistle:

So, it's impossible? As of now? That's disappointing... So without Geohot's cfw? Dang it, that sucks. Is there anything I can do and somehow be able to host lobbies or atleast get the speed hack without losing it after turning off my PS3? I saw a video of someone with 3.66 PS3, but I'm guessing he had a second PS3 with 3.55? :'(

Is there ANY type of mod/hack that I can somehow do? Can someone also explain to me WHY I need a PS3 with 3.55 cfw? I know a bit of it but I can't really explain it, so do you play the games on the current firmware 3.66 or do you play on the PS3 with 3.55 and somehow modify it so you can actually play the game? :confused: :confused: (I cleared a lot of things up thanks to my friend)

Yes, I know I can't mod 3.66 yet. I checked my other PS3 that has the dead laser, and OF COURSE... I updated it for absolutely no reason, I should have just let it rot until now! *clicks rewind* But can someone still explain to me what the 3.55 PS3 does if you're going to play on the 3.66? Or am I getting this wrong? Thanks.

You can do prestige hack without jailbreak, and you can use the leader board hack tool... if you bypass. (custom classes) You need two PS3's because one (the 3.55 CFW/Jailbreak) needs to be able to install the modified patches, or whatever you want. Then you need the 3.66 one because that way you can play online with the stuff you modded. You would of coarse have to data transfer all the stuff from the 3.55 to the 3.66 PS3 first though. Ok, I'm getting the hang of this stuff. But, I don't have a 3.55 cfw PS3! The number 3.55 is going to haunt me forever... (LOL...) Do you guys think that someone will ever make a cfw so you can downgrade from 3.66 to something lower...? I thought about this stuff during the time Geohot released it but I decided not to unfortunately. Would someone be able to put the data that you need to transfer to your 3.66 PS3 on the internet?
