Are you currently on 3.41 CFW? or have you used a JB USB stick on your stock 3.41? If so, do a fresh reflash of 3.41OFW. Then upgrade to 3.55. If that doesn't work, follow the instructions in this thread, but use 3.41 You must login or register to view this content.

I'm sure what has happened is that the other guy has changed the password on you. Why don't you just reset the password and steal it back?

"send me that patch! :d" (imsman) I asked Efthy if I can post it. I'll let him decide.

"just in the beginning where you have "MSo" and "MSe" remove the "VisionOn" and "VisionOff" codes, that wll stop the vision loading, but ive also removed the vision in my v8, no eta on that tho with exams :P" (JonoEfthy) Worked like a charm. Thanks a bunch.

Yeah thats a bit too much. What is the spare power pack?

If your disc drive isn't handling the disc properly there is most likely something misaligned or broken inside the drive. You should take it apart(or have someone more qualified) and make sure everything is aligned. Also, don't cram a disc in the drive too fast.

"i run into people with other modded patches ALOT, so if you could add another say command saying that their patch sucks or something funny like that... " (imsman) Nice idea. I hope you dont't mind, I was making my edit and I put " Your patch Sucks! Mine's Better!!!!!"

I love loading up the classic patches and playing them on bypass. In for some old stories told by the vets. Some of you still browse and post here.

"Wat u mean?? I have a broken blu-ray player that was on 1.82, and I updated to 3.55 Through USB And it didn't loop, Is that bad that I updated my ps3 with a broken blu ray???" (ReStEr) As long as the only component that has failed is the laser , then you can update and use cfw just fine. If the logic board is failed or the drive is absent wh...

"Thanks cheapest one I found was $90 for my model with 6 month warranty is that a fair price" (214) Do you still have the original drive? Most likely it is just the laser. You can get them for ~$50-60.

"I have a ps3 on 3.55 cfw and its missing the blu ray drive the logic board is is hooked up though I can install pkgs fine but when I try to open them they leave me at a black screen until I reboot my ps3. Is it because I need a blu ray drive or the logic board is bad any way to know if board is bad?" (214) Most likely it is only your lack of a dr...

Awesome man, Thanks again for another quality update. Down since V1 crew checking in.

Check the Video Games section in Craigslist in your area. If someone does, they will post there. I fix PS3s in my spare time and frequntly run an ad on CL. I have contact with others that do the same in the DFW area and nobody is really looking forward to soldering a bunch of tiny wires. I am not going to offer the service at all. Once some mf...
