No one has learned from anything that all the patch makers are trying to say.. so let me repeat:
1.If you are going to everr make a patch.. give some credits.. people work hard on their patches and to see someone leech is not enjoyable
2 If you release a patch.. dont release a patch that has everything that every other patch has.. all that you have done is reorganized the same mods i see everyday
3. Make some new ideas..change the menu....then maybe think about releasing.
4. I must agree with plum...The generated patches are getting old and we need to stop using it
yes i have used the generator in my v1 and v2.. but too many patches were being released using it and my V3 has been made from scratch.. with some different ideas and new mods for 1.12...so i will be releasing that in the next couple days hopefully.
Please take note of this NGU Community.
Patches have functions in them. I would respectfully give credit to the people who found those functions. I really don't give two shits about credit for someone making a cute color pattern or fancy design in their patch; anyone with minor programming knowledge can do that. The codes (or functions) themselves are where the creativity portion comes in - something that I would actually acknowledge.
To answer statements two and three: I redid the entire menu. Everyone else takes patches, adds colors to them, and adds functions and titles them. I took functions, took an existing menu system that works perfectly fine on 1.12, wrote everything and colored it without having a seizure when picking the colors. I cleaned up some of the functions that were set stupidly (speeds, time mods, UAV mods) and I removed functions that were broken/didn't work well.
Unless I make an entirely new menu system for 1.12 that nobody else has seen before, then you would automatically call me a copy&paste patch developer. Just because I'm using a menu system that WORKS and is perfectly fine (and clean, mind you) there is no reason to disrespect for that sole reason alone. I don't have the time to sit around and write up my own menu system. So instead, I use someone else's menu system that already exists, add functions others have found (possibly some of my own in the future) and then make it work from there.
Its a patch bro. All in all, two thirds of the people that are going to even use patches are just kids; they don't give two ****s about this. They only want a) features b) easy navigation c) cleanliness d) stability. All of which are offered in this patch.
As I've said before: if you don't like me/my patch; please, leave the thread.
